I had so many high expectations for this book. I did the terrible thing of watching the show before reading the book with my hopes and dreams shattered.

Foret of Souls is my first read for 2021 and I am so glad it was.
Shelby has become one of my favourite authors since reading her first book but she just broke my heart.
The concept of this book really drew me in. It was definitely different to anything else that I had read and that’s what I liked.

This book heavily draws upon mythology which is a good thing as I like mythology books but I didn’t really like this one. I think it was the whole soulmate thing. It just drove me up the wall.
