So this is going to be reasons I buy books.
- Heard a lot of things about it. So Goodreads or general adverts!
- Recommendations from my book friends.
- Cover! Beautiful covers actually draw me in!
- By an author I already love.
- Part of a book series that I have already started.
- In a book box subscription.
- For a read-along.
- Something I have stumbled across on Goodreads at a time when I should actually be sleeping!

I don’t do book box subscriptions, but I agree with you on everything else. Your list pretty much sums up all the ways I find books. I do subscribe to Bookmarks magazine, which always has great suggestions. I also pick up the monthly Bookmarks free newspaper from the library (although it looks like I might have to subscribe to it until my libraries open back up …).
